I recently participated in an exhibition of cabinetry at the Yamanoue gallery, located in Ofuna, between Yokohama and Kamakura. It is a lovely gallery in a serene location, and with a great staff, just outside of the town. I have exhibited my work there a number of times, and it is always a pleasurable experience. I designed and built three pieces for this show; a blanket chest, a small lady's dresser, and a small bench to go with it. The ladies dresser has a fabric covering on the sides and back, and the material matches the seat of the bench. This is a new type of work for me, and with many options, considering the wide range of fabrics that are available
